The first Arcona 50 has sold

The first Arcona 50, designed by Jeppesen & Pons, has sold. The plug for the Arcona 50 mould is now in production too.

Arcona Yachts CEO, Urban Lagnéus, said, “Less than three months after we announced the new flagship of our fleet, we are delighted that we have a signed contract for the build of the first Arcona 50. Two more Arcona 50s are very close to being signed too. Build slots have been planned and allocated through until summer 2024 delivery so we look forward to reporting more results soon.

Blending Scandinavian yacht design expertise with Swedish boatbuilding craftsmanship is an exciting combination for the new Arcona model by Jeppesen & Pons. The Arcona 50 is ideal for safe and comfortable long distance performance cruising. With twin wheels as standard, the cockpit layout and the sail handling systems are set up for shorthanded sailing and ease of use – important core design features at the heart of all Arcona yachts.

The build of the first Arcona 50 will commence in September 2022 in the Arcona Uddevalla yard. The first five Arcona 50s are planned for launch in 2023.
