This summer, Cowes Week marks an extraordinary milestone as the regatta celebrates its bicentenary, taking place from 1–7 August 2026.
With 200 years of history, international participation and royal association, Cowes Week remains one of the most recognised events in the sailing calendar. The 2026 edition will combine world-class racing with a vibrant shoreside atmosphere, bringing together sailors from across the UK and beyond.
This landmark edition presents a natural opportunity to bring Arcona owners together on the Solent. With new Arcona yachts continuing to arrive in the UK, including the recent launch of an Arcona 435 Mk II for a British owner, the local fleet continues to grow. At the same time, a strong ownership network already exists in Sweden through the Swedish Arcona Racing Club (SARC), where owners regularly sail and race together. Bringing these communities together – and potentially welcoming Swedish owners to join UK-based yachts – could mark the beginning of a wider Arcona owners’ collaboration.
Whether racing, cruising, or simply enjoying time on the water, the shared values of performance, craftsmanship and ease of handling continue to connect Arcona owners across borders.
SE Yachts would be pleased to help facilitate interest and connections between owners who may wish to take part.
