On the first evening of boot Düsseldorf, Saturday 20th January, the European Yacht of the Year award winners will be announced in the awards ceremony. The judging panel met four times over 2023 to decide which yachts to shortlist and test. The panel is made up of journalists from the most prestigious yachting magazines across Europe, including Yacht Germany, Praktiskt Båtägande, Yachting World, Vene, Seilmagasinet, Voiles & Voiliers, Baadmagasinet, Nautica y Yates, Zeilen, Vela e Motore, Yacht Revue & Marina.Ch. It was an honour for Arcona CEO, Urban Lagnéus, and Arcona Sales Manager, Magnus Lundgren, to go sailing with each of the journalists in October in La Rochelle. The Arcona Yachts team are looking forward to reading what they thought of our luxury performance cruiser. So far the Arcona 50 has featured on the front cover of Yachting World and Vene and the first look and first thoughts are starting to be revealed.
