Delta 48 Coupé – carbon fibre performance cruiser on show at boot Düsseldorf

The Delta 48 Coupé is the latest model from Delta Powerboats, combining Scandinavian design, advanced carbon fibre construction and year-round usability in a high-performance sports cruiser. Available to view at boot Düsseldorf (17-25 January), she sets a new benchmark for owners seeking efficiency, comfort and driving pleasure in equal measure.

Carbon fibre construction for efficiency and performance

Built entirely from carbon fibre, the Delta 48 Coupé delivers exceptional strength with reduced weight, resulting in improved performance, fuel efficiency and handling. This advanced construction underpins Delta Powerboats’ reputation for efficient hydrodynamics and intelligent engineering.
Developed in partnership with Mannerfelt Design, the 48 Coupé refines and elevates the best elements of Delta’s previous Open and Coupé models, creating a versatile platform equally suited to spirited driving and relaxed cruising.

High-performance cruising with serious range

Performance is where the Delta 48 Coupé truly stands apart. Designed for efficiency as much as exhilaration, she delivers impressive speeds, long-range capability and reassuring control across a choice of inboard or outboard propulsion options.

Inboard option

Powered by twin Volvo Penta D6-DPI engines (440-480 hp), the inboard configuration offers a refined and efficient cruising experience. A comfortable cruise speed of 32 knots and a top speed of 44 knots are paired with excellent economy. At 30 knots, fuel consumption is just 3.1 litres per nautical mile, delivering a safe range of up to 550 nautical miles.

Outboard option

For those prioritising maximum speed and acceleration, the outboard version features twin Mercury Verado V12 600 hp engines, delivering a combined 1,200 hp. Cruise comfortably at 40 knots, reach a top speed of up to 51 knots and enjoy confident long-distance capability, with a safe range of approximately 450 nautical miles at 30 knots and fuel consumption of 5.2 litres per nautical mile.

Across both configurations, the Delta 48 Coupé achieves speeds in the 42-50 knot range while maintaining the calm, predictable handling the brand is known for. Efficient hydrodynamics and lightweight carbon construction ensure performance never comes at the expense of comfort or control.

Flexible deck layout with seamless indoor-outdoor living

The deck layout is designed around adaptability. Multiple exterior lounge areas and sunbeds provide space for socialising and relaxing, while the enclosed saloon offers protection without isolating guests from their surroundings.
Large sliding side and aft doors, combined with an electric sunroof, blur the boundary between inside and out, allowing the boat to adapt effortlessly to changing weather and extend the boating season well beyond summer. Unobstructed visibility from the helm enhances both safety and enjoyment, whether cruising coastal waters or navigating busy harbours.

Three-cabin layout with handcrafted Scandinavian interior

Below deck, accommodation is provided for up to six guests across three well-proportioned cabins. The forward master stateroom is reserved for the owner and features generous storage and a private en suite bathroom.
Throughout the interior, handcrafted finishes reflect Delta’s Scandinavian approach to luxury – understated, functional and designed for real use rather than show.

Experience assisted docking at boot Düsseldorf

Arrive with confidence. The Delta 48 Coupé is equipped with assisted docking by Volvo Penta, designed to keep the boat precisely on course even when wind and current try to interfere. Using the joystick, you simply set your intended path while the system guides the boat in straight lines, allows you to pause mid-manoeuvre and make fine adjustments so every approach feels calm, controlled and unhurried.

From Saturday 17 January, visitors to the Delta Powerboats stand at boot Düsseldorf can experience these advanced features first-hand using the Assisted Docking simulator. Discover how the intelligent, semi-automated system continuously compensates for external forces to keep the boat steady, whatever the docking conditions.

The Delta 48 Coupé will be on display at boot Düsseldorf from 17-25 January in Hall 4 Stand A61, giving prospective owners the opportunity to explore her layout, materials and build quality in person.
