A great example of Najad’s popular centre cockpit cruiser. Perfect for short-handed sailing, this Najad 380 offers spacious and comfortable accommodation with two cabins and huge amounts of storage.
In the saloon, the use of white moulded planking for the forward bulkhead creates a modern Scandinavian feel that is balanced by the unstained mahogany joinery. The beautifully made table has a single drop leaf. To port is a full-length berth. Stowage is in a series of lockers and on shelves, while headroom is fantastic at over 196cm (6ft 5in).
A wealth of stowage in the galley is provided in four double lockers as well as a variety of shelves and drawers. There’s a good size fridge, a double sink and wooden brackets to hold saucepans.
There’s full standing headroom in the heads. Stowage is good with lockers behind and below the sink.
The centre cockpit provides an enclosed central sailing space and combines with the excellent sea keeping properties of a true ocean-going performance.
Her teak has just been freshly refurbished and looks like new. She has brand new standing rigging this winter. The boat comes with a good sail inventory. With great attention paid to ensure all the systems are in full working order due to an extensive refit, this Najad 380 is ready to go.
The 380 succeeds because she meets Najad’s own design brief so well: “To produce ocean-going yachts that can be handled by two people.”
